Layers is a Berlin-based label, creative network, and queer collective dedicated to uplifting FLINTA* artists and producers and reshaping the sound of the club scene. Born from a need for real representation and long-term support, Layers creates space for marginalized voices, of whom especially FLINTA* producers remain severely underrepresented in electronic music.

In March 2022, three driven women in Berlin decided the dancefloor was missing something. Not a sound, not a venue, but a structure of care. Layers was their answer. Four years later it is a label, a creative network and one of the most quietly essential queer FLINTA* collectives in the city, run by @djeivissa and @fraenz.303 and built entirely around long term support and real visibility for queer, FLINTA* and BIPOC artists. Not as a concept. As a daily commitment.
We center queer and FLINTA+ artists. We build platforms, pay fairly, and refuse the extractive defaults of the music industry. Through our releases, events, exhibitions, and workshops we translate the strength and emotional depth of our network into sound, experience and mutual support. We believe in connection over competition, and in shaping a future where FLINTA*, queer, and BIPOC artists define the sound and spirit of the scene.
